Lola Records Studios are a boutique recording facility located on a “retired” dairy farm 30 minutes from downtown Minneapolis and the International airport. Harmonizing the latest in recording technology (32 track, Protools 5.3.1), with the beauty and solitude of a 19th century farm, Lola Records provides artists a unique, relaxing and immensely creative recording experience.

Carefully designed and engineered to capture the vibe of the surroundings, the studio is built into an outbuilding (the “grainery”) on the property. There are plans to open a second studio and rehearsal/performance space in the main dairy barn by 2005 (over 10,000 sq. ft.). Artists have enjoyed experimenting with the various natural spaces on the property including silos, the aforementioned barn, and the great outdoors to capture their unique sound.

There is on site lodging in the guest quarters of the studio or in the main farmhouse, as well as hotels nearby. Lola Records is currently seeking a limited number of projects for independent label release as well as long term recording commitments (minimum 2 days, or full album) from artists that are interested in an enhanced recording experience.

Our engineers and in-house production team have extensive recording and performance experience as well as voice-over and radio ad experience. We are happy to provide any level of assistance you require to get you project to sound the way you want it.
